Damen grew up in Waukesha, Wisconsin, where he continues to call home. He recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee with degrees in Neuroscience and Biological Sciences, along with a minor in Chemistry. Passionate about health care and science, Damen plans to pursue an MD or MD/PhD degree in the future.
Outside of work, Damen enjoys staying active through tennis, running, and boxing, a sport he has participated in on and off for several years. In his free time, he likes playing guitar, video games, and catching up on his favorite TV shows. He has been in a relationship for two years and looks forward to traveling someday, with Alaska and Hawaii at the top of his bucket list.
