Dr. Amy Miller-Guhl was born and raised in East Brunswick, NJ. Her family later moved to Colorado Springs, where she graduated from Air Academy High School in 1990.
She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, graduating in 1994 with a major in molecular, developmental, and cellular biology and a minor in biochemistry. She then attended the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 2000.
Dr. Miller-Guhl completed two years of residency training at the St. Louis Veterans Affairs Medical Center, which included six months of surgical training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.
In 2002, she moved to Milwaukee and has been practicing in the area since then. Since 2007, she has been co-director of Waukesha Foot Specialists with her husband, Dr. David Guhl. Dr. Miller-Guhl is committed to providing individualized treatments tailored to the specialized needs of her patients. She holds a particular interest in women’s and children’s foot health but enjoys seeing a variety of patients.
Throughout high school and college, Dr. Miller-Guhl was an avid figure skater and served as president of the University of Colorado Figure Skating Club. She currently lives in Elm Grove with her husband and two children, Joseph and Ella. She enjoys hiking, running, cheering on her children in their activities, and spending time with her family and friends.
